This upcoming weekend (4/10 & 4/11) the brush piles will be closed.

We have a dedicated page on the transfer station portion of the town website that will have the most up to date information on the brush piles.
This page will not be frequently updated on if the brush piles are open or closed, so please check the website or call before bringing down brush.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to burn this brush as fast as Mother Nature and schedules allow!

Brush pile information: Brush can be no bigger than 4 inches diameter and no longer than 6 feet. If there's cones in front of a bunker, that means that the bunker is closed. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY marks the beginning of the Transfer Station’s new year-round hours!

Starting March 31st, the hours will be as follows:

Tuesday & Friday – 8am – 6pm
Saturday – 8am – 2pm

Due to the forecasted severely cold temperatures, the Transfer Station will be closed this Saturday, Jan. 24th.
It will be open from 7am to 8pm tomorrow, Friday the 23rd. Hopefully this gives people a chance to get there after work before hibernation begins.

A pop-up message has been put on the website homepage and noted on the Transfer Station’s page as well, but please let your neighbors know who may not get online that often.

We’re here for normal business hours this weekend! We may be a bit busier than usual.
Don’t forget, wrapping paper, gift bags, and all other wrapping supplies are not recyclable! Bag it, tag it, and put it in the trash please!

We were finally able to burn brush! 🔥 🔥🔥

Our brush piles will be open while space permits. Brush cannot be bigger than 4 inches diameter or longer than 6 feet. There are several dozen people who have been asking us these past couple months about dropping off brush. Once the brush bunkers fill back up, they will close. We will do our best each week to keep up with burning but it is entirely dependent on the weather and employees' schedules. Please be patient when at the brush piles as there may be people already unloading or waiting for the brush piles themselves.
