About Me
I’m running for the District 6 seat to make sure that citizens and families have a common-sense voice on the Council – someone dedicated to protecting homeowner rights, keeping our taxes as low as they can be, and working to ensure the neighborhoods are protected. Sandy Springs is growing – and that is both a blessing and a challenge. We need independent citizens on our City Council to bring balance that recognize the needs of our neighborhoods, our families and our local businesses. As your next City Council member, I’ll fight to protect neighborhoods, improve traffic and roads, and hold the line on property taxes. I will work hard to earn your support and your vote for City Council District 6. Interests
Worrying about homeowners rights and erosion damage to the six watersheds in the City.

Dear Neighbors,

Elections are about choices. The choice we make this election centers on the balance Sandy Springs will strike between neighbors and neighborhoods on one side and politicians, developers, special interests and bureaucrats on the other.

Our continued quality of life depends on restoring balance, and that means seating people at the table who are from the neighborhoods and who speak for the neighborhoods. That’s what this election is about.

My track record is real and includes serving on the Council of Neighbors, as a citizen voice working on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, on the Watershed Alliance, on Oliver Porter’s Task Force for Public Works, and as a citizen advocate before every one of the City boards.

I’m a neighbor, not a politician. I share your values. I have the experience and the determination to pull a chair up to the table and put our shared values into practice.

But first, I need your vote.

Thank you.

Patty
