Summer is upon us — I hope you are enjoying all that comes with it!

Sending a newsletter update that is focused on how your money is spent.

Three items: an upstream water cost increase and what it means for your bill, the new Communications Department and the accountability it now requires, and a question I continue to raise about how we set raises across the city.

Your input on that last one matters. We are required to adopt the budget by the end of June so the window for feedback is short.

Sandy City has incredible volunteers! Our community looks and feels the way it does because of the many individuals who give of their time and talents. Thanks to each and every volunteer and congratulations to Paul for being this year’s Volunteer of the Year!
