We loved seeing a few familiar faces helping kick off last night’s American Music Awards! Back in August 2023, Hootie & the Blowfish members Mark Bryan and Gary Greene took the stage at Depot Park as Occasional Milkshake to close out our City Summer Concert Series — the final concert held at the Depot before the series moved locations.

Now, seeing them perform on the AMA stage reminds us just how special that night in Sanford was. ✨

Occasional Milkshake featured:
🎸 Mark Bryan – founding member of Hootie & the Blowfish
🥁 Gary Greene – percussionist for Hootie & the Blowfish
🎶 Hank Futch – of Blue Dogs

The concert also featured an opening performance from Britton Buchanan and included a special proclamation presentation that evening.

Safe to say… our Summer Concert Series has hosted some incredible talent over the years, and we can’t wait for another great season ahead!
