All Harnett County Public Libraries will be closed on Saturday, September 5 and Monday, September 7 for the holiday. We’ll resume regular hours on Tuesday, September 8.

This closure includes the Main Library in Lillington and branches in Angier, Benhaven, Coats, Dunn, Erwin, Anderson Creek, and Boone Trail.

All Harnett County Public Libraries will be closed on Thursday, September 17 for staff training. We’ll resume regular hours on Friday, September 18.

This closure includes the Main Library in Lillington and branches in Angier, Benhaven, Coats, Dunn, Erwin, and Anderson Creek. Please note, the Boone Trail Community Center and Library will remain open with normal operating hours.

Calling all Western Harnett alumni and local history buffs! 🦅 It’s time for a walk down memory lane with the Benhaven High School Sandspur yearbooks, available online thanks to our partnership with the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center.

Through DigitalNC, the Harnett County Public Library offers free online access to digitized local archives. Take a look back at classic photos, sports teams, clubs, and familiar faces from 1955–1957 and 1971 right from home! 📚
