Happy Father’s Day!

Today is a special day to celebrate the fathers, stepfathers, foster dads, grandfathers, or other fatherly figures in our lives who loved and shaped us into who we are.

We also honor the fathers who may not be with us physically but remain forever in our hearts.

Office Ambassador Paulette Chaffee had the pleasure of attending the Fullerton State of the City, presented by Mayor Fred Jung. This annual event provides the community with an in-depth overview of the City of Fullerton, highlighting future initiatives, priorities, and past accomplishments.

Community members had the opportunity to learn more about the City of Fullerton’s current progress and vision of the city’s future. Both historic and rising local business owners, local healthcare leaders, and keynote speaker OC Superintendent Dr. Stefan Bean all shared insights on some of the success and progress in the City of Fullerton.

The presentation also highlighted the recent improvements in property development through the newly launched Easy Dev portal. The portal ensures that development is more efficient and accessible for businesses, contractors, and individuals. Over 14,000 plan checks were approved through the Easy Dev portal, highlighting the success of this new property development system.

Congratulations to the City of Fullerton for another successful and productive year of serving the community!

This past Saturday, we held our second Future Leaders session at OC Airport with a special presentation from Metrolink and a tour of OCFA Station 33, the airfield and of Lyons Air Museum.

Students gained an inside look at OC Airport’s mission, guest experience programs, future infrastructure projects, and cutting-edge innovations like eVTOL air taxis. The Metrolink team shared how they connect communities across 6 counties in Southern California. At Station 33, students witnessed the critical role of airport-based fire response in ensuring public safety. At Lyons Air Museum, students learned more about aviation history in World War 2.

These experiences provided valuable insight into how local public agencies work together to keep Orange County moving and safe.

I want to thank LOT318 for investing in Placentia’s youth and always looking for new opportunities to support their growth!
