Peace & Dignity 2020 - Prayer for the Fire

The Peace and Dignity Journeys is a spiritual movement, a ceremonial run that retraces the steps of our ancestors to connect indigenous communities. The Peace and Dignity Journeys started in 1992 to fulfill the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor and continue in the spirit of the traditions of our ancestors. Every four years indigenous communities all over north, central and south America witness and share lifeways, stories, songs, dance and wisdom by receiving runners in the home community's ceremonial ways.

The Peace and Dignity Journeys runners start simultaneously from both ends of Abya Yala from Chickaloon, Alaska and Tierra del Fuego, Argentina traversing community to community on foot and joining together for a final gathering in Kunayala (Panama). This site is a place to learn about PDJ and PDJ activities and movement in Texas and throughout the indigenous lands/communities of the Americas.

The Peace and Dignity Journey Prayer for the Seeds began in May 2016 in Alaska as the seventh round of the intercontinental ceremonial run- the living prophesy of the Eagle and the Condor.
