💙🍇 BACA - Bay Area Bay Area Monthly Luncheon 🍇💙

Today’s BACA - Bay Area Bay Area Monthly Luncheon was held at the beautiful Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes, a truly impressive senior living community with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We were honored to hear from Connie Ricketts of CASA of Galveston County of Galveston County, whose passion and dedication to serving children in the foster care system was both inspiring and moving. Connie shared the critical need for volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need a voice. If you've ever considered volunteering, this is an incredible opportunity to change a child's future.

The luncheon also featured a fun Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive benefiting the HIS Ministries Food Pantry. Congratulations to the Peanut Butter Team for winning the friendly competition! In addition to collecting donations, the team proudly presented $500 to support the pantry and help local families in need. 🥜🍞❤️

Thank you to BACA Bay Area, Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes, CASA of Galveston County of Galveston, and everyone who contributed to making today's event such a success. Together, we continue strengthening our community through service, compassion, and generosity.

👧🧒 For boys & girls ages 4 years old (must be fully potty-trained) through 6th grade

✨ Each night will be filled with exciting Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, snacks, and lots of fun!

🎉 Family Night is Thursday, June 11! Parents will stay and enjoy the children singing along with a special slideshow highlighting the week’s adventures.

This month’s Monthly Ministry Spotlight is on HIS Ministries in Santa Fe.
HIS Ministries West Galveston County
Our team had the opportunity to spend time serving at their food pantry, and what stood out most wasn’t just the food being provided, it was the care. Volunteers walk alongside each person, listening to their stories, offering encouragement, and even stopping to pray.
One woman shared how much it means to come not just for what she needs to survive, but for the love she experiences there.
That’s the heart of HIS Ministries. Meeting real needs while reminding people they are seen, valued, and loved.
