Exciting News! New Mexico’s Community Solar Program is making progress as four projects officially break ground.

Construction is now underway in Otero, Curry, and Valencia counties, bringing renewable energy access to more New Mexicans, including renters, small businesses, and low-income households. These projects are a key step in expanding solar energy for those who cannot or choose not to install panels on their own property.

• 47 total projects are planned across New Mexico
• 200 megawatts of clean energy in the pipeline
• At least 30 percent of energy reserved for low-income subscribers

Together, we’re making solar power more accessible and sustainable.
