Two Decades of Dedication at Gordy’s Hill! 🏜️🚙
We’re honored to see the story of Gordy’s Hill and the incredible volunteer efforts of the New Mexico 4-Wheelers featured in today’s El Defensor Chieftain newspaper!
The article, written by our own Frank Whiston, celebrates 20 years of hard work, partnership, and passion that transformed Gordy’s Hill into one of New Mexico’s premier OHV recreation areas. From installing the very first sign in 2005 to completing major improvements in 2025, this project has been powered by volunteers who “show up and work at it.” 💪
A huge thank-you to everyone who’s been part of this journey — from early trail builders to today’s crews who continue improving and maintaining this world-class four-wheeling playground.
