💙 MILITARY GRANDPARENTS

Behind many of our service members stands another generation of love, strength, and unwavering support.

Military grandparents know the pride of watching a grandchild answer the call to serve. They celebrate the milestones, worry during the long separations, send the care packages, offer words of encouragement, and keep their families strong through every deployment and homecoming. 🇺🇸

Some have served our nation themselves. Others have supported a child in uniform and now watch the next generation continue a family legacy of service.

Today, we recognize and thank the grandmothers and grandfathers of our military families. Your love, encouragement, wisdom, and support are an important part of your service member's journey.

To every proud military grandparent, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for standing faithfully behind those who serve. ❤️🤍💙

Every Friday, Till they all come home!

RED FRIDAY ❤️

Today, we wear red for those who cannot be home.

Across the world, our service members are deployed, standing watch, answering the call, and sacrificing precious time with the people they love.

RED Friday is our reminder to Remember Everyone Deployed until they all come home. 🇺🇸

Behind every deployment is a family waiting, hoping, praying, and counting down the days until their loved one returns. Today, we stand with them too.

Wear your RED proudly. Share the meaning. Keep our deployed service members in your thoughts and prayers, and remind others that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Every Day Matters 💙

Sometimes we think making a difference requires doing something big. But often, it is the smallest acts of kindness that leave the biggest impact.

A phone call to check on a military mom.
A handwritten note tucked inside a care package.
A visit with a veteran who could use some company.
A simple “thank you” to someone who served.
Showing up when someone needs a helping hand.

We may never know how much one small act means to someone or how it might change the course of their day or even their life.

At Blue Star Mothers of America, we believe there is purpose in showing up, serving others, and reminding people that they are not alone.

🇺🇸 Every day matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every person matters.

💬 What is one small act of kindness you can do today? Tell us in the comments and help inspire someone else to do the same.

💙🇺🇸 The first goodbye is one of the hardest moments a military mom will ever experience.

One moment, you are cheering at graduation, taking photos, and celebrating their future. The next, you are standing at an airport, MEPS station, or boot camp drop off trying to hold back tears as your child begins their military journey.

For many new military moms, nothing fully prepares you for that moment. The quiet ride home. The empty bedroom. The worry mixed with overwhelming pride. The realization that your child is stepping into a life of service, sacrifice, and responsibility.

It is emotional. It is life changing. And it is something military families carry deeply in their hearts.

To every mom experiencing that first goodbye this graduation season, please know you are not alone. So many military moms have stood exactly where you are standing now. We understand the tears, the pride, the fear, and the strength it takes to let go.

Your child may be leaving home, but they will always carry your love, support, and encouragement with them wherever they serve. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms but most importantly those Military Moms who won’t hear from their Soldier, Marine, Seaman, Airman, Guardians, Coasties or Guardsmen.
A Military Mom is Different from the average Mom who might endure Weeks, even Months without contact from their Child. They are Strong and Proud but reach out and give them some love today!
Happy Mother’s Day. 💐

Happy Mother’s Day 💙

Today, we honor and celebrate all mothers, especially the incredible military mothers who carry both pride and sacrifice in their hearts every single day. 🇺🇸

Military mothers know the strength it takes to support a child who chooses to serve our nation. We know the sleepless nights during deployments, the quiet worry during long periods of silence, the tears at goodbyes, and the overwhelming pride that comes with watching our children wear the uniform and serve something greater than themselves.

Whether your child is currently serving, deployed, a veteran, or forever remembered, your love, strength, and support matter more than words can express.

At Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., we recognize that military mothers serve too. Through every deployment, every homecoming, every sacrifice, and every prayer, military mothers continue standing strong beside their children and our nation.

Today, we celebrate YOU. 💙

To every military mother, thank you for your strength, your sacrifices, your support, and your unwavering love.

Wishing all mothers a beautiful and blessed Mother’s Day. 🌸🇺🇸

Salute to Silver Star Veterans

Today we recognize Silver Star Banner Day, honoring the brave men and women who were wounded, became ill, or were injured in service to our nation.

Their sacrifices do not end when the uniform comes off. Their strength, resilience, and courage continue long after their service, and today we pause to honor their journey and the families who stand beside them.

As we begin National Military Appreciation Month, we are reminded that service takes many forms, and so does sacrifice. From those currently serving to those who carry the visible and invisible wounds of war, we honor each story with respect and gratitude.

On this RED Friday, we also remember everyone who is still deployed. We stand united in support of our troops, our veterans, and their families.

At Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., we will never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom. Today and every day, we honor, we remember, and we stand in support.
