The Saugus Housing Authority’s mission is to serve the needs of low-income, very low-income, and extremely low-income families in the Housing Authority’s jurisdiction. In addition, the housing authority strives to:

1. Increase the availability of decent, safe, and affordable housing in its communities.
2. Ensure equal opportunity in housing.
3. Promote self-sufficiency and asset development for families and individuals.
4. Improve community quality of life and economic viability.

Many had attended yesterday's SHA Board of Commissioners Meeting.

If you weren't in attendance here's a mini recap:
- Delivered right to your door, the following Board-Approved Policies:
* Air Conditioner Policy: Do's and Don'ts of proper installation!
* Housekeeping Policy: Hoping to supply you with assistance in the upkeep of your home!
* Outdoor Policy: Enjoy some summertime grilling!
* Revised Rent Collection Policy

- Capital Improvement Projects Galore! All slated to begin this summer!
* Balcony Railing Replacements
* Common Area Flooring Replacement
* Roof Replacement Project, 12 Roofs in Total!

If we haven't met already, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Sean and I am the social media admin for the Saugus Housing Authority (SHA) page!! Aside from my community work on social media, I am the full-time Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) with SHA. One of my favorite things about the RSC role, is that I get to help others and make positive changes. As a member of the SHA team, I want to share our successes, celebrations, current projects, future events, and more to the neighboring communities. I would like to thank you all in advance for stopping by our page, giving us a follow, and liking my posts (I mean, how could you not 😉). I am truly grateful for your continued support! Lastly, I encourage you to share our page with friends and family, so that you can follow along with us as we embark on this new and exciting journey to helping those in need!
