"Mindful Monday"

“Be mindful of where you invest your energy.

Not every distraction deserves your attention.
Not every criticism deserves your response.
And not every battle deserves your participation. And everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Some of your greatest growth will come
when you stop focusing on the drama around you
and start focusing on the purpose within you.

Protect your peace.
Guard your vision.
And stay committed to your purpose.”

💙🧹 THANK YOU, CONSTANCE BLOCK NEIGHBORS! 🧹💙

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and participated in our Constance Block Club Clean-Up Day on Saturday, June 6, 2026!

Because of your time, effort, and community spirit, our block looks cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming. It was wonderful to see neighbors working side-by-side, meeting one another, and taking pride in our community.

Special thanks to all of the volunteers who picked up litter, helped with beautification efforts, provided support, and contributed to making the day a success. Every helping hand made a difference.

Community isn't built by one person good people; it is built when neighbors come together with a shared purpose and commitment to making a positive impact.

We are proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to continuing our efforts through future events, including our upcoming Movie Night, Block Club Meeting, and Annual Block Club Party.

Thank you again for helping us make a difference right here at home.

I Don’t Have to Fight With You. "I’m Covered”

I don’t have to fight with you.

Not every attack
requires my hands.
Not every insult
requires my response.
And not every battle
requires me to step outside of my character
to prove a point.

Because I’m covered.

Covered by peace
when chaos tries to pull me in.

Covered by discernment
when confusion fills the room.

Covered by grace
when people try to provoke a version of me
I refuse to become.

I don’t have to fight with you.

Because some battles
aren’t really about me at all.

Some people are fighting
their own bitterness.
Their own pride.
Their own unresolved pain.

And sometimes
they project those battles onto others
hoping somebody will carry the weight for them.

But I’ve learned,

Protection does not always have to be like revenge.

Sometimes protection
looks like walking away peacefully.

Sometimes it looks like silence.
Discipline.
Prayer.

Sometimes it looks like trusting God enough
not to lose yourself
trying to fight every storm.

And yes,
I see the negativity.
I hear the whispers.
I recognize the disrespect.

But I also recognize
that everything sent to shake me
cannot touch what God already has His hands on.

That’s why I move differently now.

Less reacting.
More discerning.
Less proving myself.
More protecting my peace.

Because I know something
people often forget.

Being calm
does not mean I’m weak.

It means I’m covered.

So no,
I don’t have to fight with you.

Not when my spirit is protected.
Not when my purpose is bigger than the drama.
Not when God keeps reminding me
that every battle
does not belong in my hands.

Some things,
I simply place in His. 🙏🏽🙌🏽♥️

"Soulful Sunday"

"Your soul was not created to live in constant turmoil.

It was created to love,
to grow,
to heal,
and to find peace even in uncertain seasons.

Today, release what you cannot control.
Forgive what still hurts.
Trust what God is doing behind the scenes.

And remember 💭

A peaceful soul is not one that has never faced a storm.

It is one that learned how to remain calm while passing through it.” ❤️
