Fuzzy Therapy Miniature Horses, Inc. Rommy (Romulus) and I are on an adventure to help people. This little guy doesn't have to do anything beyond being who he is...he makes people happy.

History of Fuzzy Therapy Miniature Horses, Inc. As a New Year's Resolution (2015), I decided to share Rommy. He's a 9 hand 1 inch high (37 inches total) miniature horse that loves people. I've owned him for just over two years and have learned so much from him. In the past year I've worked with him to see if he'd be interested in going places and doing things most horses wouldn't. I brought him in

the house, he wouldn't leave. I asked him to climb in the car, he only asked for more carrots while standing in the car. I have even asked him to learn how to pull a cart, he had no problem pulling it the first time we tried. He's an awesome little horse and I can't wait to share him with people. I have a goal this year to hitch him to the cart, drive him to a local nursing home or hospital and visit with patients. He brings a smile to everyone he meets already so why not bring him to more people to spread his joy? I've created this page as a motivational check to make sure I continue working on our goal. I thank all my friends on Facebook who have already shown so much support by liking and commenting on photos I've shared. Time for Rommy and I to keep the momentum going! I’ve lived with type 1 diabetes since I was 10 years old. I understand the fear, the overwhelming feelings, and the strength it takes to face it every single day.

That’s why this isn’t just a walk for me.

Through Fuzzy Therapy Miniature Horses, Inc., we bring comfort, connection, and moments of relief to children and adults in hospitals and care facilities—because I know firsthand how much those moments matter.

Now, Rascal (one of our incredible therapy horses) and our team are walking in Savannah to help fund a cure for type 1 diabetes. Our goal is $3,000—but I believe we can go beyond that.

When you support this, you’re not just donating to a single event.

It’s that time of the year! Our Annual Easter Eggstravaganza Community Event is back! 🐣🌷

Mark your calendars for April 4th from 10 AM – 1 PM and meet us in the field between both buildings for an egg-tastic time filled with fun for the whole family!

Don’t be late! The Easter Bunny will be hopping by for pictures taken by Diane Dodd Photography from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Immediately following the photos will be our Easter Egg Hunt! 🥚

Here’s some of the fun you can look forward to:
