We are excited for this year’s Memorial Day Parade and look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Please find the attached parade line-up map. To reach the line-up area, please follow these directions:

- From Middleburgh: Turn left onto Bridge Street.
- From Schoharie: Turn right onto Bridge Street.

Staff in bright pink vests will be on-site to assist with positioning. We will use Knower Avenue and Orchard Street for the line-up, proceeding onto Fair Street and then onto Main Street. The parade will conclude at the firehouse (114 Fort Rd), where everyone is welcome to join us for an open house.

Prior to the parade, we will hold a ceremony at the memorials in front of the County Office Building to honor our veterans and fallen firefighters. Anyone wishing to participate is welcome to join us.

Schedule:

- 5:00 PM: Parade Line-up
- 6:00 PM: Ceremony and Parade Start

You can stop in this week on Thursday night at the firehouse from 7-9 pm and grab your certificate.

Thanks to all of those that participated even with the chance of rain. Thank you to the Schoharie High School band for being a part of the ceremony and playing, and thank you for all of those who came out to brave the rain and cold temperatures to watch the parade.

Pizza is being prepared, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and drinks for the open house after the Memorial Day parade this evening. Look forward to seeing you all back at the firehouse after the parade.

We would like to take a moment to thank Cody Robinson-Bulluck for being our MC for tomorrow’s parade. Also thank you to Michelle Rivera from Love Shine Tea, Leslie Price from J Lacy’s, and Curt VanSteele for being our judges. If you happen to pass by the judges table say hi to them.

We are doing the parade rain or shine on Thursday evening. Hopefully the rain holds off for us during the parade.

Schoharie Memorial Day Parade will be Thursday, May 22nd starting at 6pm! Main Street in Schoharie from the County Office building down to the firehouse. Hope to see you all there!
