Thousands of people gathered at the Arizona State Capitol yesterday for the “No Kings” protest.

The turnout was incredible. The signs were clever and creative. Everywhere I turned, I saw familiar faces, friends from all over the Valley, and people showing up because they care about where Arizona is headed. We couldn’t find everyone we knew in the crowd but that’s how big it was. And that’s a good problem to have.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made their voice heard. Arizona showed up. Let’s keep this energy going and continue building a better future together.

Last night I had the chance to attend the Panhandle Democrats’ local meeting in Amarillo. Different city, different state—but the concerns felt all too familiar. Powerful conversations surfaced about fears of being targeted, the inhumane treatment of fellow citizens, and a deep urgency to bring young people into the party.

Fired up after today’s rally at the Arizona State Capitol! Heard powerful speeches from Joanna Sweatt , , , , and alongside hundreds of veterans standing together for what’s right.

and brought the energy for the rally against the Trump Administration’s plans to slash 80,000 jobs at the Department of Veterans Affairs—cuts that would directly impact the care and support our veterans rely on.
