Our guest will discuss his journey as a competitor in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, a premier event that celebrates the perseverance, athleticism, and spirit of veterans living with disabilities.

Come hear a powerful story of determination, service, and overcoming challenges.

What a meaningful day spent giving back to those who have given so much to all of us.

My deepest appreciation goes out to everyone who joined Rotary and Scranton Tomorrow at the Gino Merli Veterans Center. Together, we added a little more beauty to a place that is home to so many of our nation's heroes.

The true highlight of the day wasn't just the flowers we planted—it was the spirit of service, kindness, and gratitude shared by everyone who participated. Seeing our community come together to honor veterans through action was both inspiring and humbling.

Thank you to every volunteer who helped make today such a special experience. It was a beautiful reminder of the difference we can make when we serve together.

Join us today at 2:00 PM at the Gino Merli Veterans Center as we work alongside local veterans and residents planting flowers and vegetables.

Want to learn more about Rotary and how we're making an impact throughout our community?

Join us tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. at the Scranton Hilton Hotel for an opportunity to meet local leaders, hear about upcoming initiatives, and discover ways to get involved.

We'll also be discussing Tuesday's volunteer event with Scranton Tomorrow and the veterans of the Gino Merli Veterans Center as we continue efforts to make Scranton an even better place to live.

Members of the Scranton Rotary Club were proud to partner with Scranton Tomorrow as they continue their incredible efforts to beautify our city. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Scranton Tomorrow, downtown Scranton continues to look more beautiful, welcoming, and vibrant for everyone.
A special thank you to Steve and the entire Scranton Tomorrow team for allowing Rotary to be part of another meaningful project. Partnerships like these show what can be accomplished when organizations come together to serve their community.

Looking for something fun and meaningful to do tomorrow morning?

Join the Scranton Rotary Club and Scranton Tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in Downtown Scranton Square, across from Northern Light Espresso Bar, as we come together for a flower planting and beautification project.

Bring the kids, invite a friend, grab a neighbor, and spend an hour helping make our community a little brighter. Flowers and supplies will be provided, and everyone is welcome to participate.

There's something special about neighbors coming together to make a positive difference. We hope you'll join us as we help keep Downtown Scranton beautiful.

An afternoon filled with outstanding music and community spirit is coming to NEPA as the Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony performs live at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts at Wyoming Seminary on May 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
We’re also excited to recognize Scranton Rotary member Juston, who will be part of this special performance. It’s always meaningful to support members of our community who continue to inspire others through their talent and dedication to the arts.

Today, our nation pauses to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. While this day is dedicated to honoring them officially, their memory lives in our hearts, minds, and souls every single day.
To the Gold Star families, we thank you for your strength, your sacrifice, and the love you continue to carry for your fallen hero. Their service will never be forgotten, and neither will your sacrifice.

No Monday Rotary meeting this week, Rotarians!
Instead, we’ll be getting together for our Rotary Social on Wednesday evening. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount.
We spend so much time serving our community, and Wednesday is about taking time to relax, laugh, and enjoy great fellowship together.
