What an incredible evening at the 1st Annual Mayor’s Beach Ball! 🌊✨

On behalf of the Mayor’s Charitable Beach Ball Committee, thank you to our VERY generous sponsors and everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, bid in the auction, purchased raffle tickets, and helped make this event such a tremendous success.

The beautiful setting at the Sea Bright Beach Pavilion, delicious food from Ocean House, the amazing raw bar from L***y Lobster, and live music by Tim McLoone created a truly memorable night for our community.

Most importantly, thank you for supporting our shared goal of building a new Main Beach Playground for the children and families of Sea Bright. Your generosity will have a lasting impact for years to come.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated members of the Sea Bright Ocean Rescue, Sea Bright Fire Rescue, Sea Bright Police Department, and the Sea Bright Department of Public Works for their support, hard work, and commitment to ensuring the event was smooth and successful.

Join us for Books on the Beach with the Sea Bright Library! Bring your beach chair or blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening of reading, community, and seaside fun.

Come spend some time with us by the ocean and celebrate the simple pleasure of a good book at the beach

On Thursday, at 6PM, our wonderful librarians will leave a library cart filled with free books out on the boardwalk for Books on The Beach! Bring a blanket or a chair, your favorite book (or one from the cart!) and get cozy on the sand and enjoy your story.

Feel free to swap your book with a friend if you finish!

📚 Exciting News from the Sea Bright Library! 📚

We are happy to announce NEW extended library hours to better serve our residents and visitors!

Whether you’re stopping in to browse for a new book, use the computers, attend a program, or simply enjoy a quiet space to read, we look forward to welcoming you for even longer hours.

UPDATED LIBRARY HOURS begin TOMORROW!

Beginning THURSDAY APRIL 30th, the library will now be open on Thursdays from 12pm-6pm.

The library will continue to be open 10am-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The library will be closed on weekends.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Sea Bright Memorial Day Ceremony as we came together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Your presence helped make the ceremony truly meaningful for our community.

A special thank you to Retired U.S. Navy Commander Josh Welle for serving as our guest speaker and for sharing such thoughtful and inspiring remarks.

We would also like to recognize Sea Bright Fire Rescue for dedicating a memorial bench to lifelong Sea Brighter and dedicated volunteer, Jimmy Forsman. Jimmy’s commitment to this community and years of volunteer service will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who participated, attended, and helped make this important tradition possible.

🌸🌿 A huge thank you to the Sea Bright Beautification Committee and Sea Bright's Department of Public Works for planting the Borough’s planters and helping keep them looking beautiful as we head into the summer season!

Your hard work, creativity, and dedication add so much charm and color throughout our community. These seasonal plantings truly help brighten our downtown, beach areas, and public spaces for residents and visitors alike.

We are incredibly grateful for all you do to make Sea Bright such a welcoming and vibrant place. 💙

🎨🌊 Keep an eye out for our new beach entrance signs, designed by the children who attended Sea Bright Day 2025!

The colorful handprint artwork featured on the signs was created during a special community activity sponsored by Sea Bright Library & Cultural Arts Center. These signs are a fun and meaningful way to showcase the creativity of our youngest residents while adding a personal touch to our beachfront entrances.

A big thank you to all of the children and families who participated and helped make this project so special for our community! 💙
