Inclusion Committee

Inclusion Committee Economic opportunities created by legalizing marijuana should be targeted to communities that were ground zero and destroyed by the failed war on drugs.

The Inclusion Committee is a group of men and women from the communities of Martin Luther King Jr. County that have been ground zero and most negatively affected by the failed war on drugs. For decades, we have watched our family, friends, and sometimes ourselves vilified, hunted and eventually incarcerated for both petty and non-violent crimes. We exist in every city and every state. On the subje

ct of legalization, we have rarely been heard from. We began meeting in fall of 2013, because we wanted to find ways for our communities to be healed and included in economic opportunities created by the new industry.
