Hi friends,

I know it is scary out there as the pandemic is creating a huge adjustment for us all. Some of our family, friends, loved ones and neighbors are struggling and it appears a lot more is to come. Health, security, and “freedom” are at risk. It’s scary, but that is ok. Remember it is all about perspective and it is even more of a reason to live in immediacy.

My kids school was closed, for what appears to be at least two weeks and I have been able to hang with them this morning. This is time I usually don’t have with them. I would like to invite you to use this time of staying out of public, to connect with your loved ones, whomever they might be. Let’s not fill the voids of electronic news and live in debilitating fear. It is not often we have the gift of perspective to slap us in the face so hard that it remind us all that life is precious.

We all must cherish what little time we have together because it is fleeting. Make sure you spend this time with love ones to remind yourself that the connections we build, the experiences we have, and the hardships we overcome is what life is all about.

Be good to each other,

Jesse

Hey America, it me Jesse Greene, you know, one of three hundred million. I know there is a lot going on right now with virus scares, a divisive government, a wildly swinging stock market, and the world kinda seems like it is teetering on edge right now... but you want to know what?! I feel lucky to be here because today, I voted.

It doesn’t matter who I voted for, for me to understand that: I am informed, I have the opportunity to vote, and I cast my ballet. Whether I voted for liberals or conservatives, I know I can still love my neighbor. In fact , I have some conservative friends and liberal ones. Some are politically active and some are not. I can disagree with some of them about which direction we should take as a country; however, I still hope they find happiness.

I care about all my neighbors as we are all in this together and hope someday soon, the waters will calm a bit and we can continue to live out our lives in the pursuit of happiness. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the governance in these United States.

Great start to the PCO training for the 34th Democrats LD this morning. Thank you King County Councilmember Joe McDermott for the kickoff... this is democracy in our community at its finest!

It is without hesitation and with full throated enthusiasm that I endorse Chris Porter for KCD Supervisor. This little know but very important position is responsible for ensuring we are responsible stewards of our local environment.

Let's bring some badly needed diversity to our local conservation district by electing this LGBTQ urban beekeeper. He is passionate, he is motivated, and he will work to protect our environment.

I want to give a huge shout out to our governor, Jay Inslee. Thank you for taking the time, making the effort, and sticking your neck out there to run for President of the United States. Campaigning for office is always hard, especially at that level, and a lot of people who have never met you passed hate every single day just because they belonged to a different party. They called you all kind of names and did whatever they could to put you down. They said you don't have a shot; therefore, why even waist the effort to help drive the conversation around climate change?!

Unless a person has ever run for office, they will NEVER understand what is required to try to make a difference in our community. If we only left it up to those that seek office for the wrong reasons to try, we are left with that type of leadership. Most don't know that Jay is the individual who helped me understand that you can be true to civic duty and retain a strong foothold in who you are. People may not agree with his politics; however, I will put Governor Jay Inslee's character up against any other politician with great confidence. He is a good husband, father, grandfather, which has sacrificed a lot to do the mission he feels his creator has called him to do through communal effort.

Thank you for everything, Jay and Trudi. You helped me understand that the chance to create impact is worth taking, even when the sacrifice is great.

like you have one life to live!

Another write-up about Governor Jay Inslee in Politico. This time it is on the subject of environmental justice... It is a good read and I state again, after leading a state that is passing strong environmental reforms, signing the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, offering syrian refugees a place to go when no one else had the courage, and leading a liberal state to one of the best economies in the US is exactly what we need as the Democratic Nominee for the presidency.

Some say you can't win on the environment, but is the most pressing issue of our time. This is our moment.

Protecting front-line communities from pollution is the focus of the Washington governor's fifth climate-related proposal of the 2020 cycle.

Tune in on Wednesday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET and see why Governor Jay Inslee needs to be taken seriously as the Democratic Party nominee. Washington State's bill on Cascade Care, championed by West Seattle's own Representative Eileen Cody, is an example of what can be done to improve health care for all americans.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is banking his longshot presidential bid on his climate message, but he arguably has a strong case to make on health care.

An absolute crock of horse dung... Just because you have a friend that wasn’t racist, it doesn’t mean that your not condoning another friend for being racist. It doesn’t mean you are not racist.

Welcome to the 2019 GOP party.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and other GOP lawmakers defend President Trump's racist attacks on lawmakers, saying Democratic lawmakers are making it about politics.

My Story

My page is about living your passions in all areas of life. By being compassionate and follow your dreams, you will be the best person you can be and hopefully inspire a few other people along the way. I believe if you ask the universe for good things, take risks, and learn from your mistakes, you will leave this world a little better than you found it. Don’t get me wrong as I don’t mean that you will never be sad about the way things are or that it will be easy; however, you will always be trying your best to improve.

There was a time when I was young that I was homeless and a tent was my bedroom. We didn’t have much at many times while I was growing up; however, my mother had an awesome ability to make my siblings and I believe we would be alright, we could be anything we wanted as long as we did our best, and could choose to do great things in our lives. I was crazy enough to believe her and believe it to be so to this day.

Do I fail? Absolutely, sometimes spectacularly!!! Yet through of these failures, I try not to get discouraged and to learn from those mistakes so I do not replicate them.

I believe in the overall goodness in humanity and know that if I follow my passions and are not afraid to fail, then there are many good things I can accomplish.
