Birthright of Sedalia is blessed to have many church and civic groups organize baby showers for the benefit of new mothers and their babies. Articles of clothing, baby items, bottles, pacifiers, thermometers, and financial donations are collected and donated to help our Birthright moms.
A Birthright Baby Shower is such a great way to support women in crisis pregnancy situations.

Birthright is in need of 20" or longer nylon zippers; flannel material; plastic kids' hangers (used) for 2-piece toddler outfits; small (4 oz) bottles - new (gender-neutral only); white onesies-short sleeve-size 0-3 months; maternity shorts and new sleeveless maternity tops; thermometers (Safety 1st, 3-in1 Nursery Thermometer); and newborn size socks.

Don't worry. Babies are born with pieces of cartilage that will soon become the bony kneecap that adults have. Similar to the bone, cartilage gives structure where it is needed in the body like the nose and ears, and joints. Cartilage is softer and more flexible than bone causing the birth process to be smoother.
