Selmer Building & Property The Selmer Planning Commission meets every month on the third Tuesday of the month at 6 pm in the courtroom of City Hall.

The Building Inspector is responsible for all new residential or commercial construction, ensuring the city codes pertaining to construction and property maintenance are enforced, and zoning. To go before the planning commission you must notify Jim Replogle at least a week prior to the meeting to be added to the agenda.

Good Morning Town of Selmer !!! I just wanted to let you know I am out and about checking on our beautiful snow covered town. I’d like to give you a quick update on our road conditions. Downtown Selmer is passable in the travel lanes, Highway 64 East and West are passable with one lane mostly clear. Highway 45 is passable with one lane mostly clear. Turn lanes are still covered, so please use caution when using them. Secondary roads are not as clear as main roads so please use caution when traveling on them. Parking lots are still mostly covered so please be careful entering and exiting your vehicles and entering local stores. I will continue update you throughout the day. Please be safe in your travels if you have you be on the roads today.
