Silvies Valley Ranch Welcome to Silvies Valley Ranch nestled in the heart of historic Eastern Oregon. It consists of approximately 140,000 acres of leased and private land.

The Silvies River runs through the lush green meadows of the ranch fed by tributaries out of the Ochoco, Strawberry and Aldrich mountains. Over the years, hardy pioneers and cowboys worked the meadows, valleys and surrounding mountains carving out homesteads and raising their families. Originally founded in 1883, today Silvies Valley Ranch is a working commercial cattle ranch. Aside from raising g

UPDATE on the dog that was found! He was possibly dumped at the rest area which is very sad. His previous previous owners contacted us and took him back, they are taking him to the vet to get checked out. I'm glad he is going home with caring owners!

Hello! Thank you for the overwhelming response to our job fairs we hosted last week in Burns/John Day. Please check your email as we have sent out emails regarding second interviews, and get back to Colby ASAP to schedule your interview that is happening this Friday and Saturday. If you were not asked for a second interview we want to say thank you for taking the time to come out, we have had so many applicants but will keep your information on file.
