I am truly humbled, grateful, and overwhelmed by the love and support you have shown me throughout this journey.

Tonight, you placed your trust in me to serve as your General Sessions Court Clerk, and I cannot begin to tell you what that means to me.

To every person who voted, prayed, shared a post, put up a sign, made a phone call, told a friend, volunteered, encouraged me, or simply said, “Keep going, Penny”—THANK YOU. I will never forget the people who stood beside me and believed in me.

To my family, friends, campaign team, and supporters—you carried me through the long days, late nights, nerves, exhaustion, laughter, and tears. This victory belongs to all of us.

And to those who supported another candidate, I want you to know this: I will work just as hard for you. The campaign is over, and now it is time to come together as one community.

I didn’t run for this office for a title. I ran because I believe in public service, and I wanted the opportunity to make a difference for the people of Sevier County.

I promise to serve you with integrity, professionalism, kindness, and respect. I will listen, I will work hard, and I will never forget who this office belongs to—the people.

I am truly honored and humbled to have the opportunity to continue serving as your General Sessions Court Clerk.

This journey has been filled with long days, late nights, and so many meaningful conversations. I’ve continued to serve in the office each day while also spending time out in the community—and every moment has meant so much to me.

Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and your votes. Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in me along the way. I am incredibly grateful for each of you.

Thank you for the support, the conversations, and the encouragement throughout this campaign. I’ve continued to serve in the office each day while spending time connecting with so many of you—and I’m truly grateful for every moment of it.

This journey has been built on hard work, experience, and a true commitment to serving our community. I’ve continued showing up every day—both in the office and out in the community—because this role and this county truly matter to me.

Early voting for the Sevier County Primary is underway through April 30 at the Sevier County Election Commission, 1145 Dolly Parton Parkway, Sevierville. Early voting is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Sevier County Election Commission oversees elections for Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Pittman Center.

Election Day is May 5, when all precincts across Sevier County will be open for in-person voting.

If you haven’t already, make a plan to get out and vote. Every voice matters, and participating in the process is one of the most important ways to be involved in our community.
