Today we’re celebrating Maya, Kayla, Bree, and Brielle for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence as members of the National Honor Society! 👏✨

Each of these seniors has helped make Seymour stronger through their hard work, positive influence, and service to others. Their impact on our school community will be felt long after graduation, and we are so proud of all they’ve achieved.

We are incredibly proud to highlight the amazing work happening at Seymour Community High School! Elizabeth recently gave a fantastic presentation on the Good Young Men group—a wonderful new initiative that she and Wendy started at the high school this school year.

This program is already making a meaningful impact, fostering leadership, personal growth, and community among our young men.

From design to finish, these projects came to life in the workshop! 🛠️🎲

Students in Mrs. Arneson’s 6th Grade Technology & Engineering classes spent the quarter building custom game boards from the ground up—learning how to safely use machines and hand tools, measure accurately, sand, and apply a professional finish along the way.

🚀 7th Grade Hovercrafts Take Flight! 🛠️
Students in Mrs. Arneson’s Technology and Engineering classes have been busy designing and building their very own hovercrafts in the workshop this quarter!

During this hands-on project, these talented 7th graders learned how to:
⚙️ Safely operate workshop machinery and tools
🪵 Properly sand their builds for aerodynamics
✨ Apply a professional finish to their custom designs

The best part? When put to the test, these impressive hovercrafts actually hover and travel over four feet! 🛑💨

Congratulations to Seymour’s own Riley Leisgang! 🎓🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce that Riley has been awarded the 2026 Joel Konze Memorial Student Scholarship ($4,000) by the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO)!
This fall, Riley is heading to Carthage College to study Allied Health Sciences, with plans to earn a Master of Occupational Therapy. Her dream was inspired by the therapists who helped her grandmother recover from a stroke. ❤️
Riley is known in our schools and community for her leadership, empathy, and dedication. From balancing tough academics and work to serving as a faith formation teacher and missionary discipleship coordinator, she truly embodies what it means to lead with a servant's heart.

Meet Cooper Krull 👏

Since June 2024, Cooper has been part of our Youth Apprenticeship Program, gaining experience across multiple areas — from welding and fabrication to concrete work.

Known for being dependable, reliable, and independent, Cooper has become someone our team can count on. Whether he’s completing tasks on his own or stepping in to make sure crews have the materials they need, he’s shown what it means to be prepared and take initiative.

Cooper brings a strong willingness to learn, always asking questions to better understand the work and why it matters — something that goes a long way in this industry.

Now, we’re proud to welcome him full-time as a Concrete Crewmember after graduating from Seymour High School.

Congrats, Cooper — we’re glad to have you on the team!

Our incredible HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club students spent time assembling beautiful care baskets to deliver to local nurses' stations! 🧺✨These thoughtful packages are filled with treats and essentials to show appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and compassion our nurses show every single day. We are so proud of our future health professionals for giving back to those who care for our community! 🙌🏥📸
