We spent the entire day visiting with neighbors across the district. We placed new signs on new friend’s property. Working hard to earn every vote. Big thanks to Mertaline Zawisza for her support in Harrah.

Grateful for another opportunity to speak to the community as we remember our greatest heroes. The greatest sacrifice is felt by the loved ones left behind. We owe them our gratitude for what they have shared and sacrificed for our freedom.

Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice, and the sacrifice carried daily by their families, is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a reminder that freedom has a cost, and generations of Americans have willingly paid it in service to something greater than themselves.
Grateful today for our fallen heroes, their loved ones, and for every opportunity we have to serve our communities well. May we never forget. 🇺🇸

In recognition of Public Works Week we had the privilege of taking this group to lunch at El Niños, to thank them for all the behind the scenes work they do for our town. From installing the new street signs, working on water 💦 line breaks (at any hour not just during work days), to keeping our parks going and a whole lot more. Thank you to the Harrah Public Works team!!
And if you want to be part of this great team they are hiring 😉

Election season is coming up fast, and I wanted to share a few important Oklahoma voting dates:

Voter Registration Deadline — May 22, 2026
Absentee Ballot Request Deadline — June 1, 2026
Early Voting — June 11–13, 2026
Primary Election — June 16, 2026

If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time. If you’re already registered, now’s a good time to make a plan for early voting or Election Day.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll keep traveling Senate District 17, visiting with voters, knocking doors, and talking about the future of our communities and state.

30 days until Election Day.

Over the next month, we’re going to keep working hard, meeting voters across Senate District 17, and talking about the future of Oklahoma.

I’m grateful for every sign placed, every door knocked, every prayer offered, and every person who has encouraged our campaign along the way.

Conservative Values. Proven Leadership.

Let’s finish strong for Oklahoma!

National Police Week is personal to me. I grew up watching my dad, Freeland Wood, serve our community at the Shawnee Police Department and now as Pottawatomie County Sheriff. Because of that, I got to see the reality of the job up close, the long nights, missed family time, stressful calls, and the weight that law enforcement officers carry every day.

This week is a reminder to stop and thank the people willing to answer the call and serve others, often without much recognition. It’s also a time to remember the officers who gave their lives protecting their communities.

Grateful for my dad’s example and for every officer, deputy, dispatcher, and law enforcement family serving across our country. Thank you for what you do.
