Our Echo Hose Ambulance colleague and friend Michael Pereiro is running his (2nd) 24 Hour Run for charity this Friday starting at 8pm. He will be donating all proceeds from his 24-hour Ultra Marathon run to both Echo Hose Ambulance and our EMS colleague and friend, Seymour & Ansonia EMT, Josh Henriquez.

Mike runs an approximate 3-mile loop starting at our EMS Headquarters, towards the Shelton Dog park, through the woods, and back around towards the EMS Building. Mike successfully completed the run the first time in June 2020 and raised over $7,000 that he donated to Echo Hose Ambulance that helped purchase one of our new ambulances. Mike is an amazing athlete who is dedicated to serving & caring for his community and those who are sick and injured.
The community is invited to join us on Friday night at 7:45pm at 100 Meadow Street as we cheer him on as he sets off for his 24 hour-marathon. We invite the community back at 12pm on Saturday to meet Santa, enjoy a slice of Pizza from Fire Engine Pizza and cheer Mike on as his enters the home stretch of his 24-hour run.
