Statement from Casey Reed

While I respectfully disagree with the Arkansas Supreme Court’s decision, I am temporarily suspending my campaign. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported, encouraged, and stood with me throughout this journey. Your belief in this vision and in our community means more than words can express.

This outcome is not what I had hoped for. I entered this race out of a deep love for our community and a desire to serve its people. Bringing people together, not dividing them. While this chapter has ended differently than we planned, my commitment to this community remains unwavering. I will continue to support, advocate, and stand up for the people of this community in every way I can.

I continue to believe our community deserves leadership that prioritizes people and works for everyone. As the race moves forward, many in the community are now looking to Dawn Creekmore, and I sincerely wish her the very best in the days ahead.

Thank you all for your support, your prayers, and your encouragement throughout this journey.

As someone who values transparency and integrity,
I believe that members of the community deserve access to information that helps them make informed decisions. Yesterday, an article was published addressing who is funding the candidates in the District 92 House of Representatives race. I feel it’s important to share this, not to influence anyone’s decisions or voting, but to ensure transparency.

I encourage you to read the article for yourself, consider the facts, ask your own questions, do your own research, and draw your own conclusions. Our democracy thrives best when we make choices based on knowledge and facts.

Your voice truly does matter, more so than ever. The March primary voting date will be here before you know it.

Trust starts with transparency and communication. If you would like to talk or ask any questions, I am available and my door is always open.

As the Christmas season is behind us, we’re now looking to close the chapter on 2025. I find myself reflecting on the challenges, growth, and resilience our community has shown over the last year. This season is a time for gratitude, to the neighbors who lended a helping hand, for the families who persevere, and to the entrepreneural spirit of all of our small business owners.

Looking towards 2026, I am filled with optimism and determination. Our district is ready for some meaningful and lasting change. Change that uplifts every voice, strengthens our schools and keeps our chikdren safe, supports our local businesses, and brings access to quality healthcare and mental health resources to our community. I stand firmly on the belief of the power of listening, collaboration, and action.

As your candidate for State Representative in District 92, I am dedicated to serving with integrity, transparency, honesty and compassion - guided by principal and a strong commitment to ethical leadership. I will work relentlessly to drive meaningful change and make a real difference, just as I do throughout my active service in our military, and in my own local businesses.

My hope for the new year is that we continue to come together, and create lasting progress for our families and our future.

I am here for you, and my door is always open. I intend to continue to listen locally to the needs if our district and bring your voices to the state level. Having been born and raised right here, I understand our values and challenges - I am one of you.

This year’s Christmas on the Square was truly a celebration of community, joy, and the holiday spirit!

I was quickly reminded how these moments bring people together — neighbors, friends, families - all sharing in the warmth despite the lower temperatures!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community as well as our surrounding communities!

One of my favorite days of the year is HERE!
Christmas on the Square is tonight frm 4-8pm and I’ll be there for all of it — the farmers market, parade, the tree lighting, first light sho of the season, and yes… photos with the big man himself. 🎅

If you need me, I’ll be somewhere between the hot chocolate and the Christmas spirit!

I can’t wait to see you there!

I am honored to be serving dinner tonight at the Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner Event hosted by Norwood4freedom for Veterans nonprofit corporation at the Malvern Country Club.

If you haven’t made dinner plans for tonight — consider joining us for dinner, live music and a mystery box raffle with all proceeds going towards local veterans in need!

Today is all about community, and supporting an amazing cause - Deputy D's Danger Dodgers Shop with Our Cops initiative.

We’ll be kicking things off later this morning with a chili cook-off (and I’m honored to be one of the judges!), followed by a toy drive, silent auction and pageant - all happening at the beautiful Cedar Moss Barn

I am truly honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with our law enforcement partners, families, and friends in support of this mission. Thanks to these efforts, children and families right here in our district will experience a brighter, more joyful holiday season!

** A Week in Review Across our District **

What a great week! I am so grateful to have spent time at the Veterans Day Potluck in East End honoring our heroes with good food and even better company this past Tuesday.

Then we rolled up our sleeves yesterday for the City of Sheridan, Arkansas Community Trash Pick-Up Day — nothing beats seeing neighbors come together to keep our town beautiful!

And now we’re gearing up for a busy week and rounding it out with three awesome events to help support Deputy D's Danger Dodgers !

I believe that living and working side by side with all of you — is exactly how community and representation should be. It’s about service. It’s about showing up. It’s about rolling up sleeves, and listening with heart.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have worn the uniform and stood watch over our freedoms. As both an active member of the military and a candidate for state representative, I carry their legacy with me in every step I take—on duty and in service to our community.

Veterans Day is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment that defines our nation’s heroes. Whether they served in times of peace or conflict, their dedication has shaped the America we know and love.

To every veteran—thank you. Your service inspires us to lead with integrity, fight for justice, and build a future worthy of your sacrifice.
