Tuesday Recycling Tip! Did you know that if batteries aren’t properly disposed of, they can cause fires, burns, and other environmental damage? Batteries do NOT belong in your garbage or recycling carts. This includes batteries found inside kids’ toys, musical cards, remotes, laptops, and other household items. We offer separate curbside battery collection in all jurisdictions that we service! Batteries are collected on the same schedule as your glass recycling. We also accept household batteries at our depot for a charge of $2.00 per quart. Car batteries are accepted at the depot for no charge. Keep batteries out of your carts and help keep our community safe!

We can pick up your junk and large bulky items (things that would not otherwise fit in your garbage cart) from your home. There is a fee for this service, but it's more affordable than you think! For example, a standard size couch picked up curbside would cost you approximately $53 - $72. This cost reflects the pickup fee and a per item charge, the rates are based on the jurisdiction you live in.

We are the ONLY provider that is licensed by your jurisdiction and allowed to provide these services in your area. The rates we charge are set by your city or the county, depending on where you live. All items we pick up are disposed of or recycled responsibly and safely.

Sometimes not everything you want to dispose of can fit in your garbage cart. In these cases, Pride Disposal & Recycling can come to your home to haul your bulky and oversized materials away and dispose of or recycle them.

4th of July reminders! All routes are running on regular schedule this week. Since the holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be observing the holiday on Friday, 7/3 and the office and recycling depot will be closed on Friday. There is no change to collection schedules this week.

As of 2:30 PM, our phone lines are down. We anticipate the outage will last at least a couple of hours and may continue through the end of the business day.

Now accepting wood at our recycling depot! The wood that is accepted includes:
• Dimensional lumber
• Pallets
• Plywood
• Minimal nails and screws are allowed

Painted, stained, or pressure treated wood is not accepted, must be no longer than 6’ in any direction.

A car load or less is $30 (minimum fee) a pick up truck load is $60 (must be water level)
