Huge congratulations to Teagan Minor! This spring, the rising 8th grader from Siloam Springs Middle School South was elected as a State Officer for the Technology Student Association (TSA).

Teagan is officially the FIRST middle school student in Arkansas history to be elected to a state office for ANY Career and Technical Student Organization!

To jumpstart her journey, Teagan traveled to Arkansas Tech University last week to participate in the Arkansas State Officer Leadership Academy, making her the youngest person ever to attend. While in Russellville, she didn't just learn how to lead; she learned how to train and inspire others.

Developing these powerful leadership skills at such a young age isn't just about today. It is setting Teagan up for lifelong success, unlocking doors for her future, and showing us all exactly how limitless our Siloam students truly are.

Our 8th graders had an amazing time celebrating the end of the year at their luau! 🌺☀️ From fun with friends to lots of laughter and memories made, it was the perfect way to wrap up their middle school journey. We are so proud of this group and can’t wait to see all they accomplish next! 🐾

Students who participated in the new reading incentive program — including our top readers — enjoyed McDonald’s, prizes, and well-earned recognition for their dedication to reading throughout the year. 🎉📖

Long post ahead about the 2026–2027 school year! ‼️Open House dates have officially been set, school supply lists have been finalized, and for your convenience, we’re also sharing the start and dismissal times for all schools. We’re already looking forward to another great year in Panther Nation!

🟢Open Houses: Monday, August 10th, from 5-7 pm: Northside Elementary, Allen Elementary, Southside Elementary, Siloam Springs High School, and Panther Academy

🟢 Open Houses: Tuesday, August 4th, from 5-7 pm: Middle School North and Middle School South

🟢School Supplies:
Kindergarten-5th grade
Backpack (no wheels)
1- small school pencil box (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)
1- small pencil pouch (3rd - 5th Grade)
1- water bottle
1- earbud/headphone (USB connection only)

6th-8th grade
Backpack
1- small pencil pouch

The Siloam Springs School District will be providing all other school supplies for every student, Kindergarten - 8th grade. Please note: High school students will receive a list of required supplies from their teachers in the first week of school. In the meantime, we recommend high school students bring basic items such as a backpack, a notebook with paper, and writing utensils.

Panther Palooza was full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Students had an amazing time playing on the inflatables, running through the water, decorating popsicle sticks for our mural, and enjoying delicious snacks with friends. We wrapped up the day with an exciting student vs. staff dodgeball game that had everyone cheering! 🐾☀️🎉

A huge thank you to the fire department and police department for taking the time to visit, share demonstrations, and help make the day even more special for our students!
