The Ignite Church

The Ignite Church Ignite is an explosive Sunday series which brings together professionals across the DC area every 2nd-5th Sunday of the month at 10am.

Ignite JHDC is a church based in the DC metro area with a passion for helping you discover your God in a new way, love others and lead a purpose filled life. We are a ministry of Jesus House DC. Services take place on the 2nd-5th Sunday of the month at 12:30PM in person and online. We also foster connection through our Wednesday Lighthouse small group meetings, Thursday video prayer meetings, singles ministry and our anchor groups for young men and women.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice is not forgotten. As we gather with family and loved ones, may we also pause in gratitude and prayer for those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Some said celebration
Some said eggs and colors
Some said new beginnings and hope
Some didn’t really know

And honestly, that’s real.

Because for a lot of people, Easter means different things
tradition to some
comfort to others
and for many, it holds questions they’ve never really stopped to ask

But what if it means more than a moment on the calendar
What if it means hope is still alive
What if it means the story was never over
What if the answers aren’t as far as we think

This Sunday at Ignite, we’re leaning into the deeper question
not just what Easter is
but what Resurrection really means
