We all love good news. We’ve got a heartwarming story about one of our fine police officers. Our officer arrived at the scene of a minor vehicle accident and had to issue a ticket to a woman who was at fault. She learned that the woman was dealing with a number of challenges in her life. The ticket had to be issued but our officer quietly paid the fine for the individual. She wasn’t expecting any attention for this quiet act of compassion and kindness. Just one human being helping out another human being. #silverthorneproud

I saw this on another page and my love of infographics compelled me to share this here. School is back in session and this is a great reminder to the motoring public!

Happy First Day of School! Here's a reminder of when to STOP for school buses.

In Colorado, you MUST stop your vehicle at least 20 feet before reaching a school bus that is stopped with its 🚨red lights flashing 🚨whether it is on your side of the road, the opposite side of the road, or at an intersection you are approaching.

You must remain stopped until the flashing red lights are no longer operating.

Watch carefully for children near the school bus and children crossing the roadway before proceeding. #KidsFirst
