You are invited to attend an Open House event in your area to watch the KELO program or we hope you’ll enjoy the program from home.
Open House events will be held in Sioux Falls at the Sanford Research Center on North 60th Street at the Benson Road exit of I-229 starting at 5:30pm. And in Rapid City at the T.R.E.A Veterans Building at 1981 East Center Street starting at 5:00pm.

Honor Flight South Dakota is planning an event to conclude the program on Monday evening September 12th.
On Monday evening September 12th at 7:00pm Central time, KELO Land Television will broadcast a one hour special program about the Honor Flights from South Dakota.
The Broadcast will be the closing activity of the program. In conjunction with the program, there will be several Open House events around the state.

2011 Flight Dates have been announced! I'm not sure if these have been posted yet but here they are. We will have two final flights in 2011. The first will focus on west river Veterans and will fly from Sioux Falls on May 6/7. The last flight, Flight #12 will finish up all the Veterans on our waiting list leaving Sioux Falls on June 3/4. When we are done we will have flown over 1400 WWII Veterans to DC!

GOOD NEWS... we finally got the Photo CDs done from Flight 7, 8 and 9. We put the stamps on them at our meeting tonight. So will be in the mail tomorrow. Flight 10's will be out within the next 2 weeks -- production problems. We know these are important to the veterans and their families and are sorry it took so long....Thank you again for what you did when your County needed you!

Honor Flight SD Flight # 7 is leaving Sioux Falls on 20 August returning 21 August. Will try to keep some info posted here during the trip.
