Wherever our conference is held, our Auxiliary makes it a priority to step out into the community and give back to the place that welcomes us. It’s their way of saying “thank you” and leaving a little light behind. This year, they not only spent time reading to kindergarteners—sharing stories, smiles, and laughter—but also volunteered at the Humane Society, taking dogs out for walks and giving them some extra love and attention. These small acts of kindness add up to something bigger: showing appreciation to the communities that open their doors to us. Thank you for being such a bright example of service and generosity!

Douglas O. Williams, age 87, of Huron, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at PrairieView Healthcare Center in Woonsocket. His memorial service will be at 3 p.m., on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. Memorial visitation will be from 1 p.m., until service time on
