Carly is a young vibrant dog, she was found as a stray and never claimed! šŸ¤Æ Carly LOVES other dogs and LOVES playing! Anyone looking for a happy go lucky playmate for your dog? Adopt Carly!

Sometimes, it really doesnā€™t take much to make a shelter dogā€™s day. Thanks to a generous supporter, our pups got to have a Pup Cup with Milk Bone Sprinkles Party! šŸ¦šŸ¶ā¤ļø

A can of whipped cream and a jar of mini milk bones may seem like something small, but itā€™s enough to break up the mundane routine these dogs experience every day.

Go do something for your local shelter this week! ā¤ļø It doesnā€™t have to be anything big or cost you any money!! Donate a bag of treats, bring in some new toys or toys your own dog doesnā€™t even play with, volunteer for an hour, share an adoption post, or simply stop by and give the animals some love.

Sometimes the little things mean the most. šŸ¾

Not one ounce of interest in Delilah. šŸ’” And honestlyā€¦I think itā€™s because she isnā€™t sad.

Sheā€™s happy. Sheā€™s confident. Sheā€™s playful. Sheā€™s the kind of dog who still has a smile on her face despite being left at the shelter. She doesnā€™t have the sad eyes. She doesnā€™t look broken. She doesnā€™t have a heartbreaking story written all over her face.

So people scroll past her.

And that honestly breaks my heart. Because somewhere along the way, weā€™ve started overlooking the happy dogs. The ones who donā€™t look desperate. The ones who are still smiling and wagging their tails, waiting for someone to choose them.

Delilah shouldnā€™t have to be sad for someone to see her. She shouldnā€™t have to fall apart in a kennel before someone decides sheā€™s worth saving.

Arenā€™t those ears the cutest?! They help her hear all the squirrels, which are apparently her arch nemesis. Everyone has a hobby, and chasing squirrels out of the yard is Delilahā€™s. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø No judgement hereā€¦

Delilah is a fun loving, energetic girl who loves to play fetch, go on hikes, and burn off her energy. Sheā€™s also quite the little escape artist, she can jump a 4 foot AND 6 foot chain link fence so she must be tethered or leash walked only. A family ready to keep up with her adventurous spirit is a must!

Sheā€™s looking for a forever family who will give her plenty of exercise, attention, and, of course, a yard where she can continue protecting the neighborhood from those pesky squirrels. ā¤ļø
