I have served in township government since 2017; first as a trustee, now as Supervisor. It has been my greatest privilege to enact policies and lead agencies that uplift our neighbors in their most vulnerable moments. This is the true purpose of township government, and my deepest passion. But I don’t do this alone. I work alongside an equally dedicated team, including Mark Collins.
Unfortunately, this election has been tainted by blatant distortion of facts to sway votes. Disagreements are part of politics, but willful deception should not be. I’m writing to set the record straight.
While the Niles Township Service Party slate isn’t running under the Democratic label, **we are all Democrats.** It is standard in our township for candidates to run under a local party name to emphasize service over partisanship. In fact, Clerk Levy is the only candidate choosing not to do so.
If you want to understand why the entire board of incumbents cannot support Clerk Levy’s re-election and instead back Mark Collins, I urge you to watch the Niles Township board meetings from Jan. 27, Feb. 10, and Feb. 24 on the township website. They speak for themselves.
Mark Collins stands for transparency. He has a proven record of dedicated service. He understands the critical role of Clerk. Please join me in voting for **Mark Collins for Niles Township Clerk!**
The photo here is pulled from the Vote Builder website with Mark’s personal information redacted. Again, it speaks for itself. Mark voted as a Democrat in every year listed. He’s a Democrat.
