The secret to a focused week isn’t just in your planner. It starts at your desk.
This is my real workspace. The place where every JPP product, client request, and workflow strategy begins. There’s no aesthetic filter here, just intentional tools and systems that support actual productivity. If you’ve been trying to get organized and your desk still looks like a mailroom exploded, this post is your gentle nudge to reset.
Here’s what I always keep on mine:
✅ A printed agenda for daily priorities
✅ A clean legal pad (for real-time notes, no sticky chaos)
✅ A charging station for my laptop + phone
✅ A water canteen within reach
✅ A few personal objects that keep me grounded and inspired
Here’s what I’ve learned to remove:
❌ Coffee cup rings
❌ Receipts from three weeks ago
❌ Unopened mail I swore I’d get to
❌ My entire career’s worth of abandoned sticky notes
This space works because it holds only what I need. And when your desk is clear, your brain follows.
If you’re a remote professional, service provider, or solo business owner trying to bring more clarity, structure, and sanity to your day, start here. Start where you work. And if you want help building systems like these, that’s literally what I do.
