Not sure how the summer went by so quickly, but Friday will be the last Friday we are open for this year. Winter hours begin October 1st.

We are unable to accept demolition material at the Solon Springs Transfer Facility until further notice. We are having the demo ramp replaced and expect to be able to open it again by early October. Thank you for your patience.

Reminder...plastic bags are NEVER acceptable in the recycling bins at the Transfer Station. These bags were recently pulled out of the recycling bins by one of our attendants. If in doubt about what is and what is not recyclable, please ask one of our attendants. They are always happy to help.

We are looking to fill 1-2 part-time summer youth position(s) at the transfer station. This is a great opportunity for high school or college students to learn some new skills while earning some extra spending money this summer. Applications must be received by 5pm on May 23rd.
