Just a Reminder, (if you have not already paid), the 2026 Town / County Tax Bill is due TODAY.

The LAST DAY to pay without penalty is Today, April 30, 2026.

*Tax Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm*

Ways to pay:

In Person: If you would like to pay in person or are paying with CASH, please come through the side entrance of the Town Hall to do so. The LAST DAY to pay IN PERSON without penalty is Today- April 30, 2026.

Online through the Town of Somers website: We accept ACH and Credit Card payments through our online website. Please follow this link https://somers.municipaltaxpayments.com/ and make your payments from home.

Mail: When using the post office please make sure that your payment is postmarked by TODAY- April 30, 2026.

If paying on the last day please have the post office HAND STAMP YOUR ENVELOPE.

Online through the Town of Somers website: We accept ACH and Credit Card payments through our online website. Please follow this link https://somers.municipaltaxpayments.com/ and make your payments from home. (please note: additional fees may apply)

Online Bill Pay through your Bank: Many banks offer online bill pay. You can pay your taxes this way by initiating the bank to mail a check in for your taxes. Just make sure it is made out to Michele McKearney, Receiver of Taxes, include your bill number and address in the memo portion of the check and mail in time to be RECEIVED by 4/30/26.

Mail: When using the post office please make sure that your payment is postmarked by 4/30/26.If paying on the last day, please have the post office hand stamp your envelope.

The 2nd half of the 2025/2026 School Tax Bill is due by January 31st. (and yes since this is a Saturday you can walk in on 2/2/26 to pay without penalty )

The 2025/2026 School Tax Bills have been mailed

1st Half due by 9/30/2025
2nd Half due by 1/31/2026

This is the only mailing that will be sent out for this billing.
You must remember the 2nd half payment due January 31, 2026.
