Partners in Caregiving Support Group

Partners in Caregiving Support Group Partners in Caregiving Support Group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am. Please call 678-3573 to confirm our meeting location.

We are a support group for family caregivers in the Pulaski County area. Through monthly meetings, we offer support to caregivers, but also education on a variety of topics such as wound care, nutrition, Medicare/Medicaid benefits, local resources, and patient care. We also publish a monthly newsletter with information for caregivers. All caregivers are invited to attend our Support Group meetings

. You can also be placed on our newsletter mailing list by calling Debbie Carey at 678-3573. Our Support Group is funded through a grant from Area Development District Agency on Aging, and supported by several area agencies including the hospital and several home health agencies.

Our next meeting will be February 9, 2011 at 11:30 am at the Cancer Treatment Center in Somerset. Our guest speakers will be staff of King's Pharmacy. They will share information about medication safety for caregivers. Please come join us for this important information. We'll have lunch waiting for you!

We had to cancel our January meeting due to the weather; however, our next meeting will be February 9, 2011, at 11:30 am at the Cancer Treatment Center in Somerset. Our Topic for the day will be announced shortly.
