What a way to kick off September 1 in Kentucky with 👅 out and Bugles blasting !!!! It’s that time of year we live for - the thrills ,chills and big smiles . The wait is almost over folks !!!. As you can see it’ has begun in some areas while others still have no action … but this was a little glimpse as to what could be and the excitement we live for !!! Last year we had this big 8 showing up on camera, and this year we’ve been moving cameras around trying to put the pieces together. 🦌

Still not sure where he’s spending most of his time, but we’re getting closer. One thing’s for sure… a buck like this is worth putting in the work to figure out. 👀

With the 🥵 hot summer days hopefully coming to an end soon we are starting to see the changes taking place with our deer and elk . The change is in progress now .
Deer are still holding that Ky velvet as of this week and hope it will stay for at least the opening weekend for all that are trying to hang a velvet buck on the wall .
But the big update is the Elk are in process of shedding that velvet and will start the process of polishing up that head gear . Over the next 2 weeks we will see a shift in elk movement and behaviors !!!! It’s almost go time -the long hours and prep work will soon be behinds us and we are ready for our Super Bowl to kick off !!!
