Here’s another reason we need school board members that put the interests of their community first instead of always following the bias recommendations from the woke organizations like the NEA. Maybe this is one reason public school enrollment is dropping while private school and homeschooling numbers are increasing??

Vote April7!

The theme in this years election should be “getting back to the basics”. After COVID You think school and town board would learn that when they knowingly and quietly try to act in opposition to what they know the majority of the community wants, it’s going to backfire eventually. Here are my “common sense” endorsements who will be fiscally more conservative and transparent about the details that matter.

Yes, let’s make sure we really understand the details of this budget. Let’s be creative and stretch our dollars while increasing enrollment and academic achievement.

I’m very excited for the futureof Somerset schools! I believe David, along with our school board will set a new standard for leadership, collaboration, improved academics and culture, while doing more with less and balancing the budget.
Welcome David!

"There is only so much time in a school day. Schools don’t have the luxury of adopting practices that “might” work for some students. They must use methods that research has proven to work for nearly all students.” - Beanie Geoghegan

When schools have difficulty teaching essential subjects like literacy, math, history, and science, they often focus on broader concepts such as “communication,” “collaboration,” and “resilience.” This shift allows school leaders to highlight high graduation rates while overlooking the absence of crucial knowledge necessary for true success. No more fads in education; it is time to get back to the basics. Our kids deserve better!

🚨Attention School Board Members!!
By April 24th, the U.S. Department of Education (DoE) is requiring all school districts to submit a signed certification affirming compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws under Executive Order 14190.

This certification must be submitted to your state department of education, which is then expected to compile and forward these documents to the DoE.

Many State Superintendent have made it clear that they will not encourage school districts to pursue certification. Additionally, they will not compile or submit the required information to the Department of Education.

As a result, how much will local taxes increase to compensate for the loss of funding for Title I funding, school lunches and other vital programs?

This situation places the responsibility squarely on individual districts to act quickly and independently in order to meet federal requirements.

Delaying action may result in serious consequences, including loss of federal funding. Please review the attached certification form and present it urgently to your school board. Time is of the essence.

Moms for Liberty-Wisconsin Ambassador Scarlett Johnson has been provided a suggestion: Ensure your district meets this federal requirement by 📅April 24th to prevent funding disruption and show your commitment to maintaining anti-discrimination protections. File the required forms for your school district, signed by your district superintendent, and then send them to the Dept. of Education by 📨certified mail to:
