Hey all!

Thank you all for the big surge of support for my campaign. It's great to see so many people invested in the future of the school district.

I've gotten the same couple questions from a few people all ready to get ahead of them a bit:

1. Yes, I will have signs. They have been ordered and should be here by next weekend. I will be stealing an idea from another respected candidate in the city and posting a Google Form here in the feed for anyone to fill out who would like one for their yard.

2. As soon as I figure out the proper and correct way to accept donations I would be beyond humble to accept them. I want to make sure thing are on the up and up and I don't inadvertently get myself or anyone else in trouble. Once again I will post here in the feed once that system is in place.

If you have questions about my views on the district or where its going I welcome you to reach out and ask. If you see me around the city or at a school event feel free to approach me and say Hi or let me know what's on your mind!!

I’m excited to officially announce my candidacy for the city of Somersworth school board, running as an at-large candidate.

As someone who was raised in this community, educated in our district schools, and who has proudly called this city home for over 30 years, I am deeply invested in the success of our schools. Not only as a past Topper, but as a neighbor, parent, and former educator.

My connection to our district runs deep: my wife is a long-time dedicated teacher in the district, and we are raising three children who currently attend our public schools. I understand the day-to-day realities facing both our educators and our families, and I’m committed to advocating for the support they need and deserve.

Having spent time in the classroom myself, I know firsthand the challenges teachers face. I’m running to ensure our educators are equipped with the tools, respect, and resources they need to help every student succeed. I want to additionally assure that families feel heard, supported, and involved every step of the way.

I also recognize the serious challenges our state is facing when it comes to school funding. Our district schools are being asked to do more with less, and it’s not sustainable. I will work tirelessly to advocate for fair and adequate funding, and to ensure that our schools are properly supported to meet the needs of every student.

Our schools are the heart of our community, and I believe strong schools start with strong partnerships involving teachers, families, students, and leadership. I’m committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and collaboration at every level of our school system.

Together, we can strengthen our district, empower our educators, and build a brighter future for all students who call a Somersworth school home.
