Being a service oriented unit one of the various functions of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Emergency Service Unit (ESU) is providing training to fellow county employees. Our training team has been instrumental in providing assistance and support related emergency response planning, incident preparedness as well as crime prevention training to hundreds of our partners across the various departments and divisions within the county.

As our Somerset County Sheriff's Office recognizes Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we must remember that no one should ever have to live in fear, especially in their own home. As a community, we have a responsibility to look out for one another, stand with survivors of domestic violence, and remind those who are suffering that they are not alone and there are resources to support them.
