SCGOP National Convention Delegation Elects Officers

THESE ARE THE ONLY OFFICIAL RESULTS FROM SATURDAY’S DELEGATION MEETING.

ANY ILLEGAL MEETING HELD OUTSIDE THE RULES OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT PRODUCE OFFICIAL RESULTS.

During the meeting, Glenn McCall offered his position on the Credentials Committee to Verd Odom, who refused the position. Drew McKissick also offered his position as Delegate Vice Chair to Gerri Gerri Suggs McDaniel. She also refused the position.

(Columbia, SC) - In accordance with SCGOP Rule 7-B-7-G, South Carolina's 2024 Republican National Convention delegation met today to elect its officers and make appointments to the National Convention's four standing committees. The delegation, which will attend the National Convention July 15-18, 2024 in Milwaukee, is comprised of 50 delegates and 47 alternates from across South Carolina. Their names are listed in the below PDF.

The following individuals were elected delegation officers by the 43 Delegates who were present at this meeting:

Governor Henry McMaster (Richland) - Delegation Chairman
Drew McKissick (Richland) - Delegation Vice Chairman
Susan Aiken (Anderson) - Secretary

The following individuals were elected to the four Republican National Convention standing committees by the 43 Delegates who were present at this meeting:

Bill Oden (Sumter) and Shery Smith White (Sumter) - Committee on Permanent Organization

Chad Connelly (Newberry) and LaDonna Ryggs (Spartanburg) - Committee on Platform

Glenn McCall (York) and Cindy Risher (Clarendon) - Committee on Credentials

Drew McKissick (Richland) and Cindy Costa (Charleston) - Committee on Rules
