Remember snow? Cold, wet, white... We don't have to deal with that right now, but with school out for the summer, there are kids who need, but are not getting school breakfast or lunch. But wait! There's more! We can help😃 We are part of a mobile pantry in Granby, and it continues through the summer. Nobody likes to see their kids go hungry, and we are all in it together, so come see us. We are some of the nicest people you will know and we think everyone should eat.

School's out, but for millions of kids the meals they count on all year just paused for the summer. The good news? You can be part of the solution, and it's a great way to spend a few free hours this season.

Volunteering at your local food bank is something the whole family can do together. You might sort and pack groceries, hand out fresh produce, or welcome neighbors as they pick up food for the week. No experience needed, and every shift makes a difference. Last year, volunteers across the Feeding America network helped distribute 5.9 billion meals.

▶▶▶CALLING ALL JOB HUNTERS! ◀◀◀ Applications for the Weatherization Technician Training Program are OPEN!

In Community Action Pioneer Valley's Weatherization Technician Training program, participants will receive individual career navigation support, free training, certification, supplies & materials AND on the job training leading to full time employment!

The program spans 5 weeks and will be held from August 3rd - September 3rd 2026, Monday - Thursday from 8:30-3PM at Greenfield Community College.

Participants will be issued a stipend to cover basic expenses during the training.
