The war of aggression launched by the criminal Netanyahu government and United States imperialism in the early hours of Saturday morning against Iran has ignited a full-scale war and dragged the region and its peoples towards more disasters and civilian casualties – all in the service of imperialist interests, against the interests of peoples, their independence and their right to self-determination, in an effort to dominate and control the region and the world. Delegates of WMCP, and joined dozens of unions and community organizations at the .alf annual Legislative Breakfast on Friday, March 6th. Workers across public and private sectors spoke about their struggles against austerity, AI and privatization, and for protection of healthcare and democratic rights in their workplaces. Widespread calls for the abolition of ICE were echoed by Senator Ed Markey.

Our analysis, circulated among attending organizations, condemned the Healey administration for its support of war with Iran, half-measures against ICE and attacks on public-sector workers. The ballot initiatives of the Massachusetts High Technology Council pose a new, catastrophic threat to public services, opening an additional front in the anti-austerity struggle. Further noting the extreme-right influences acting within the populist anti-corruption movement led by State Auditor DiZoglio, the Western Massachusetts and Hampden clubs reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the labor movement in urgent struggles for peace, democracy and economic justice.

Join us in celebrating working women of all races, trans and cis, at home and abroad! We are in awe of their achievements in the face of daily misogyny, horrors of war, and the constant assault of capital on the dignity of life. We can only truly end women’s oppression by fighting the social system that incentivizes and enables it - capitalism, and the growing fascism it is spawning in our society. Forward to the future sisters, we have nothing to lose burnout chains!
