Join the community in honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001 at the 9/11 Project. In partnership with the Major Brent Taylor Foundation, this event is dedicated to educating future generations, learning from history, and bringing communities together through service.

Step into a free, interactive museum exhibit, connect with local organizations, responders, and service groups, and explore military, fire, police, and emergency response vehicles.

Join us September 10-14, 9 AM-8 PM at the USU Bastian Agricultural Center (2100 West 11400 South, South Jordan).

Calling All Quilters

Help us celebrate America 250 with a special quilt show honoring 250 years of American history, creativity, and community.

Quilters of all skill levels are invited to enter. Whether your quilt tells a story, showcases traditional techniques, celebrates American life, or simply reflects your love of quilting, we want to see it!

The Quilt Show will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 8 am- 1 pm inside South Jordan City Hall, during the Farmers Market.

The 9/11 Project is an annual event dedicated to honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001, educating future generations, and bringing communities together through service.

Hosted by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation, this immersive experience ensures that the lessons of 9/11 are never forgotten, inspiring all who attend to serve and lead with purpose.

We’re seeing more electric rides on sidewalks, trails, and neighborhoods around South Jordan. Here’s the issue: Not all of them are legally considered “bikes.” Some are actually electric motorcycles, which come with different rules.

🚴Riding the wrong machine in the wrong place can:
Put others at risk
Lead to citations
Damage trail access

🚴Here’s a quick check – If your ride:
Has more than 750 watts
Or can go over 20 mph on motor power alone
Has foot pegs (instead of operable bike pedals)

…it may not be an e-bike.

🚴If your ride is an e-motorcycle, registration is required, OHV education is required for adults and youth, and you can only ride where motorized use is allowed.

The South Jordan Arts Council is inviting artists to submit qualifications for the design and installation of a mural to be located on the Mulligans Golf & Games Maintenance Yard Wall, at approximately 692 W 10600 S, South Jordan, UT. Artist RFQ is open now through August 10th.
