Hello Neighbors I need your Help!

This is Marcus Cummings former vice president of the Schaefer 7/8 Lodge community and former state rep. candidate for District 10. I am currently partnered with other civic, community and legal experts to get a Ballot Referendum placed on the November ballot.

This Referendum reads "A referendum of legislation to Amend portions of the City Charter of the City of Detroit that currently restricts power from voters to enact City Ordinances for the appropriation of money."

Meaning currently only council can enact ordinances that allocate our tax dollars. We want to change that so citizens can pass ordinances via voter initiatives that allocate our tax dollars. This will help decide how the city spends any future revenue from Ma*****na tax revenue and so forth. If you can help get this important question on the ballot please sign our petition THIS WEEKEND! My prayers and condolences to the family and Michigan State Police for the loss of Trooper Caleb Starr. Trooper Starr watch ended August 1st and may he rest in eternal peace. Bless all our public servants in Public Safety.
