A Statement from the Spotsylvania County Republican Committee

We believe in accountability. Our elected officials should be questioned, scrutinized, and held responsible when the facts warrant it. But there is a difference between accountability and accusation.

Allegations of corruption are serious, and they should be backed by facts and evidence-not rumors, innuendo, guilt by association, or simply connecting someone’s name to a controversy.

We are Republicans, but that doesn’t mean we will always agree. We may disagree on votes, policies, candidates, and even with one another. That’s healthy. Disagreement does not make someone corrupt, and it certainly does not make them the enemy.

When there is credible evidence of wrongdoing, we believe it should be investigated and addressed-regardless of who is involved. We also believe people deserve fairness when those facts simply aren’t there.

At the end of the day, what unites us is bigger than any disagreement or personality. We stand together for God, Family, Country, our Constitution, individual liberty, and the conservative principles we share.

Hold people accountable when the facts support it. Ask the hard questions. But let the truth-not rumors-lead the way.

2026 Republican Primary Candidates

According to the numbers Republican turnout is very low while Democrats have a 10% increase this primary season. When the incumbent party in power has a lower turnout during primary season they usually lose in November during the general election.

There have been exceptions to this rule but it only has happened a couple of times.One of them being in 2010 and then again in 2022

We must engage and turnout at the polls. Spread the word. Aug 4th, Tomorrow, is Election Day and the last day to vote at your normal precinct.
